Valorant — Agents

In Valorant, every playable character is called an Agent. Each Agent has a unique set of abilities that can completely change how a round unfolds. Agents are divided into four roles — Duelists, Controllers, Initiators, and Sentinels.

Duelists are aggressive fighters that lead attacks, Controllers use smokes and vision blockers to control areas, Initiators help break through defenses, and Sentinels protect flanks or sites. Learning each role helps players coordinate and choose Agents that complement their team.
